Riley Miller
Thesis Statement: Riley Miller is a 15 year old professional dancer striving for greatness and success.
I read through the story synopsis that the photographer provided me, and then went through all the images just to see what there is and mark the ones I thought were visually strong and added to the story. Once I compiled a selection from the 6000+ photos, I was looking for repeats and visual variety. The photographer seems to have shot a lot of the same types of events, so after awhile the images all began looking alike. I wanted to show that Riley was one of the few boys in the giant dance groups, that he was still a kid, and that he was really devoted to dance. Then I wanted to clean up the edit further and find the photos that really show the heart of the story.
